The end of the 8th season is in 8 days time and MCT has a quite positive note.
Some of our achievements are:
1) Entrance in 1st division
2) Lewis Orth maxed out
3) 1st victory in Div one
4) Return of Sylvan Ostens
5) Acquisition of new incredible climber
Presently, MCT is running with most of the time 14 riders. A first team, with Lewis as captain, MCT B with different riders acting as captain depending on the race. This captain is usually accompanied by 5 break aways. One substitute rider in case of injury and the 14th rider which is used as an income source.
MCT hope for the end of the season is to bring a nice result from the World Championships. It's not a secret for anyone that Martin Wallace will be used as a break away.
For next season, MCT first and main objective is to enter the TOP 15. It will be difficult but achievable. No great changes shall be done. Concerning training the next priority is Yorie Lemberck, the new young incredible climber. He will act as the 1st team mate for Lewis in the future races.
Also, manager Michel wants to train a team which will be competitive in the next Germany tour. He admitted that this year was quite confusing, and preferred to consider it as a positive experience based on their first participation in the greatest event for climbing teams.
MCT's manager "I'm really proud of my team and absolutely happy to see that things are going really well. Lewis is now an experienced captain who i'm sure will be present on more podiums next season. Yorie and Jack are my next priorities. Just think about a Germany tour with 2 incredible climbers and a tour rider like Jack."
Lewis Orth, MCT Captain "I've reached my maximum form this season and i'm really glad. I'm not the best climber in the peleton but with the help of my team mates, we can bring back a lot of trophies, i'm sure. MCT is still young and still need to improve to be a trouble maker for the best teams, but for now our priority is to gain points in the OCM table."
